Service Manager (Manager In Training Program)

Farmers Branch, TX

Reports to: General Manager

Welborn’s MIT program is designed to equip you with the right knowledge and leadership skills to build you into a Service Manager. As a Service manager with our team, you will be responsible for training and developing our sales/service team in order to reach maximum performance!

Responsibilities

• This is a revenue production position
• Complete the MIT Program
• Responsible for leading and coaching your in order to reach company and personal goals
• Responsible for conducting sales meetings and trainings
• Attending ride along to observe performance
• Evaluating and adjusting performance
• Help team identify specific behaviors that will contribute to service excellence
• Leading and coaching team on how to communicate effectively
• Learning company process, values, and services and coaching team on how to deliver the value of the company
• Observes consulting encounters and collects feedback, results, and performance data of trainees

Qualifications:

• Teaching, Coaching, or Leadership experience is preferred
• 21+ years of age
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Good driving record and current valid driver’s license
• Must comply with Welborn standards – clean cut, uniforms, etc.

• Must be a problem solver, able to troubleshoot issues independently and drive them to closure with minimal supervision
• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and in dealing with ambiguity
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders, work from heights.
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat, rain, snow, or sleet
• Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl, stoop on a frequent basis for extended periods of time
• Must be able to communicate effectively, problem solve, critically think, technically capable, and have a desire to improve processes
• Must be able to drive a company vehicle for extended periods of time
• Must be able to complete repetitive hand movements such as grasping, pushing, pulling, twisting, and turning for extended periods of time
• Ability to perform work duties from limited space workstation/desk/office area for extended periods of time
• Must be able to sit and perform repetitive tasks using wrists, fingers, and hand movements for extended periods of time
• Must be able to speak to customers in person and over the phone

Working Conditions

• Typical working hours range between 35-55 hours/week
• Must be available for team member when needed
